2929 1st Ave., Seattle, WA

The Concord, Unit 401

Pictures below are mostly from the real estate listing.  We'll hopefully soon have pictures showing what we've turned it into.  Until then, this will give you some idea...Click on pictures for enlarged viewing.  Hover your cursor over the picture to see what it looked like in the real estate listing.

Entering our new home:

On the left side of the hallway is the entrance to the bathroom.  Across from the sinks is a large bath tub/shower.  Across from the toilet is a closet with a stacked washer/drier.

Down the hallway to the right is the bedroom:

Off the bedroom is the deck.  The view below is looking west over the new Seattle Museum of Art Sculpture Park under construction.  We don't yet have pictures of other views but their not really of anything particularly spectacular.

Future intent:

Past the bedroom the hallway opens to the kitchen on the left.

To the right of the kitchen is the living area:

The kitchen from the living area:

Past or to the right of the kitchen is the dining area:

Through the double doors is the den:

The big cabinet on the left contains a Murphy bed so if you come to visit us you won't have to sleep on the couch or floor.  :-)

The building is pretty nice.  The lobby area has this  waiting area. Across from the waiting area is a concierge staffed 24 hrs/day.

Common areas in the building include an entertainment center, exercise room, media center and deck/courtyard:

Although located in core downtown Seattle, the area is known as Belltown.  There are lots of places to eat or get a drink.  The Pike St. market is 10 blocks down 1st street.  Sean's work is a 15 minute bike ride.  Liz's work is an ~30 min bus ride.  She'll can also catch a bus outside the front door.

The unit comes with an assigned parking space and small storage area.

The building next door is a biotech firm named Dendreon.  Sean can observe lab work being done by the workers in the evening (tinted windows hinder the observation during the day).
